I've been here three times for the buffet. It's a crazy cheap lunch buffet - like $6 for all you can eat. They have decent options - some of it a bit scary looking. I've definitely had better Chinese buffets, but for the area this is pretty good. The crab rangoons get an extra star just for being great.

Best feature is the one price buffet take out ... But the food, well, it's greasy Chinese at its finest

It's Chinese takeout... what more needs to be said? It's nothing exceptional but take out is really limited in Slippery Rock. If you are in the mood for Chinese food... it's worth a try. Reasonably priced.

Horrible! Large plate of rice and raw broccoli with about 4 pieces of rubber beef, $8.35.

This is probably one of the best Chinese food dives around. No frills kinda place however, you watch your food being prepared in their woks right in front of you, and this is some of the most delicious, tasty food in the area. I've been in fancier high end Chinese restaurants and the food wasn't nearly as delicious as EN Lai's. This truly is awesome fare. Their BBQ spareribs are to die for! Thick gooey hoisin sauce on meaty spicy ribs, you just can't get enough of the sticky sauce! The crab Rangoons are the best around as they are loaded with that delicious unctious cream cheese that after one bite and it's oozing out you enjoy it no less than the first. The shrimp they use are very large, generous portions of everything, and you will not be disappointed.

I ordered the chicken and broccoli with egg drop soup for delivery. My order came in the time they quoted. The food was great and fresh!

Very inexpensive, good food. Now it's not a high end meal, it's a buffet, but I was very happy.

Disaster nasty food. Made me sick . The food was old greasy and Cold. The place is very dirty. This place should be shut down by the city. This place is a red flag for disease and infestation. There is no way this place passed an inspection. Run by a bunch of kids.

Be warned... I had lunch here. Ordered the $7.50 buffet. They charged my card $160.00. Had I not checked my online account I would have never caught this over charge. If you eat here be alert.

Simple Chinese Buffet. This place was a great eatery for students because it was cheap and you can load up as much food as you can fit in a take-out box for one low price...a very nice change from most chinese pay per weight deals. This was where I recovered from many long nights and where I stocked up on food for finals week. Nothing is spectacular, but almost everything is pretty good. My favorite is the coconut chicken. :)

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
